The Curriculum

Three weeks. Real silicon.

The programme follows the same hardware progression used in entry-level robotics laboratories — adapted for younger engineers, never diluted. Each week closes with a working artefact the student keeps.

01 Foundation

Bare-metal, from day one.

Students solder their first board on the opening day. We do not simulate. The first illuminated LED — soldered, programmed, theirs — is the moment the engineer decides who they are.

Week One · Studio
02 Intelligence

Embedded machine learning, without ceremony.

By the third session each student has a TinyML gesture model running on their own ESP32. Local. On-device. No cloud accounts, no API keys. The work belongs entirely to them.

Week Two · Studio
03 Defence

Demonstration before peers and parents.

The cohort closes with a public demonstration. Each student presents the build, defends the design choices, and answers questions from peers and faculty. Speaking from the work, not over it.

Week Three · Demonstration Day

From the Parents

A correspondence.

We hold parent feedback in particular regard. The programme is small by design; reputation has carried it through three cohorts.

Cohort III · Demonstration Day · July 2025

"Finally, a summer programme that treats him as a young adult. He came home discussing pull-up resistors at dinner — and showed us a breadboard he had laid out, unprompted, the following morning."
